Late Shri. Ganpatrao Deshmukh Training School of Nursing is the comprehensive vision of Late Ganpatrao M. Deshmukh, father of C.M.D. & President Dr. Rajendra Deshmukh. It was established in August 2005.
Dr. Rajendra Deshmukh after serving in U.K. for about 10 years, returned back to India with dream of having Multispecialty Hospital in Central India. He was a pioneer to bring tradition of starting Multispecialty hospitals in Nagpur.
He realized greater need of nursing training institute to meet rising demand of expert nurses not only in Maharashtra but whole country and abroad. So, he decided to have a nursing school attached to Suretech Hospital & Research Centre. Fortunately, Dnyanpath Bahu-Uddeshiya Shikshan Prasarak Mandal’s (DBUSPM) came forward & College of Nursing was established.
Suretech Hospital was established in July 1996 by Dr. Rajendra G. Deshmukh. It was inaugurated by honorable Prime Minister Mr. Manmohan Singh who was Finance Minister at that time.
